The design of your garden is, undoubtedly, the most important part in the process of creating your new outdoor living space.

A well designed garden requires a balance of hard and soft landscaping to create harmony with the surrounding environment. As we are all aware, doing what we can to take care of our environment is imperative and Ben McKee Landscaping & Lawncare works hard to ensure that all the gardens we create are ecologically friendly and complementary to the natural landscape surrounding.

Our concept designs will show all features, such as timber decking, stone terraces, brick detail, water features, trees, planting areas etc, in fine detail and to scale.

All planting areas will show existing trees and shrubs to be retained and any proposed trees, structural and directional shrubs, in their respective positions.

All of our designs are computer drawn to a high standard and detail. We will give a full and comprehensive presentation of the outline proposal, in person, together with the survey drawing.

All designs will be on a scale suitable for the size of garden.

Before we add the intricate detail to the design, the basic outline will be presented, either in person. It may take a few meetings to ensure the client is completely happy with the overall layout.

To enable us to design a detailed and structured planting scheme, we will ascertain certain factors such as:-

  • Soil pH
  • Soil structure
  • Aspect
  • Drainage
